The historic port city of Astoria was the first American settlement west of the Rocky Mountains. Founded in 1811, it is the oldest city in the state of Oregon. Sitting in the northwest corner of the state, Astoria sits along the Columbia River and the Pacific Ocean. Points of interest include the towering Astoria Column, the Astoria-Megler Bridge connecting the city to neighboring Washington, and the port docks drawing hundreds of sea lions. Astoria has been a fixture on the silver screen for decades as the setting of the 1980s classic The Goonies. Other films shot on location in the city include Black Stallion, Kindergarten Cop, Free Willy, The Ring Two and Into the Wild. Today, the city is known for its burgeoning art scene and sport fishing.

The Oregon Coastal Towns Collection celebrates the variety of geographic and cultural landmarks along the state’s grand Pacific coastline. Featuring a sunset-inspired color palette, this collection of pins are created using high-quality enamel on a rose gold plated metal base. Each pin comes with a two-prong pin backing with rubber clasps attached to a pin backing card.
